NEW PROJECTS! Music videos, Bonehead, and other series!

Posted by CaseyAnimates - May 4th, 2010

Hi! Yes, for those of you wondering, "Did this strapping, young lad die or somethin'?" I have the answer. Obviously, no. HOWEVER, I guess the lack of a video for the past...however long is gonna' need some explainin'.

I was asked to do a music video for a man, Ben Wasson, who by most standards today isn't exactly what you would call, "The Shiz of the Industry." One of the reasons being is that he makes country music, which, by most standards, isn't the biggest form of audio entertainment as of late. He also is just relatively unknown...which might have to do with the country. Anyways, I have just finished it up, and it involves some great animation by my standards, with fast-paced action and several fun effects thrown in, and also features some live action. Just click HERE!

Anyways, I'm workin' on some new series, too! The newest one being A Rich Moment with Maximillion Bagsworth. It's a show in which a rich guy basically talks about how rich he is...it's funnier then it sounds, believe me. I got some good voice acting talent in it and I hope it takes off once it's completed (which will be very soon)! Also, The Super Channel is also another series that, like Maximillion, will also support as many episodes as I wish. It's a talk show in which both the Host and the Co-Host, Indy and Steve, hate each other, but end up trying to make a presentable show. Yes, for those who might know of the anime show Lucky Star, it's loosely inspired by The Lucky Channel, but I hope it gets a broader audience.

BONEHEAD. Yes, I wrote the first word in caps so that people skimmin' through this dissertation will just kinda' snap into here. OF COURSE the series must go on, and I keep getting new ideas for episodes every day! The newest episode of the series will be about Dawg and a day in his life. Of course, it'll involve the usual Bonehead antics; slapstick, awkward pauses, awesome sound, great voice acting and syncing, Dawg gettin' really freakin' mad and what I hope will be just straight up better quality, as now I'm all up for impressing anybody and everybody possible as I hope to be a name that corresponds with, "Awesome Flash Guy!" and I hope everybody here enjoys it.

Anyways, thanks for all the support you give with both Bonehead: The Cereal Box and Bonehead: Midnight Launch! I still get known around school and family for such things and I'm glad of what I've accomplished so far, and I couldn't have done it without you guys! Sorry again for the drought of material, as the music video had really took a lot outta' me for the past 2 months or so, mainly because it's getting air time and I didn't want to disappoint. Thanks again, and catch ya' later!

Best Fantastic News I've heard all day.

Glad to hear it!

Cool! I'll be waiting for the new Bonehead. By the way, I'm your stalker now. STALK STALK

That's delicious. A stalker here and there is always good for the bones.

OMG! you have a new cartoon!!!!! I MUST watch it!! :D

Yeah, it ain't Newgrounds, but it's new, nonetheless! Thanks for checkin' that out, and don't you other guys forget to check it out as well!

Good to hear your working again! Hoping to see more bonehead in the future! :P

Thanks Onions, you were always here, right from the start! And just ta' let ya' know, I never did stop. I guess I'm just a bit slower when it comes to flash, I guess.
Ah whatever, I love doin' it!

Dude, I'm hecka slow too! I see epic cartoons and the guy sez I made this in three days and I'm like WTF?! I'm so jealous!! Haha, but I think I'm starting to get a little faster..

Haha, yeah, I know what ya' mean. I have to wonder if those guys ever have bowel movements even, they must animate like for 25 hours straight. u_u

Yeah one time I randomly imagined Oney animating cartoons by slapping his buttcheeks on his tablet...and he made an epic cartoon in like five seconds...haha. BUt hey I might have a couple new cartoon son soon! :D

Awesome, I'll be sure to check 'em out.
And watch out for Maximillion Bagsworth! The new animation is nearing completion!

Darn you! Readin that you're already done with another cartoon makes me really anticipated to finsih mine! Haha :D

The animation for the music video was spot on. Smooth 3D perspectives and other great visual effects. It played well with the song too. By any chance, do you get some munneh for your work there? I mean there has to be SOME silver lining on The Cloud of You Not Making Any Movies for Months.

But I'm glad to hear you're getting ready to release new Flash movies to this site. I understand wanting to work on stuff other than Bonehead. I made comics when I was young, but when I got Flash when I was older, I just thought they were too stupid and kiddish. Or in this day and age, I could just call them "gay".

I really like the way you make your movies. The humor seems to be a hybrid between Silly and Random. But never turns up to be as bad as that sounds. The art style is simple, but you never limit yourself on detail of backgrounds or facial expressions. It's as if the fact that they don't look like normal humans never occurred to you. But that's a good thing. You know what you're making and you probably don't worry about what people may hate about it. It's like saying "Yeah, this is my flash, enjoy."

The soundtrack is probably my favorite part of your most recent movie. It's where most of the "sillyness" comes from. Reminding the viewer how comedic the situation is. Where as with some movies, the music is just tacked on whether or not it helps the scene give its intended effect on the viewer.

Your way of making movies is inspirational. Sometimes people forget that Flash movies are created by an average person, and that they don't need to be totally artsy. I hope that my future projects can mirror the things I talked about above. Also, was that Monkeydog I heard in Midnight Launch? Back in the days of Resident Evil 4 walkthroughs. That brings back memories.

That's one heck of a comment, Gustavos, thanks!

Now then, thanks for the words on the music video! I worked pretty hard on it and, as always, I went INSANE in the end of production (lack of sleep, hermit style way of living, etc.) As for money, it was REALLY cheap, we're talkin' 250$ dollars. That'd be awesome if I just mowed a lawn or somethin', but for 2 months of sweaty tablets, it ain't too good.
But I digress. I like the way ya' defined my style, though, that really brought a smile to my face, not too mention a massive ego boost! And, to tell ya' the truth, the part where it's like, "the fact that they don't look like normal humans never occurred to you," I never thought they didn't until now, haha! Yeah, I guess it is like, "Here's my flash, watch it and have a good time." Thanks a bunch, man!

As for monkeydog137, I'm REALLY impressed that you caught that! Yeah, Josh has been my best friend since the second grade, so when I made up the character of L-Man, I designed it after him, so it was only natural that he be the voice actor, and he's a lot better at it then I thought, being as he can do QUITE the obnoxious voice that I wanted for the character. So, if you were wondering, yeah, that was him. Good ears, man!

Anyways, thanks, and watch out for the next cartoon! :)
And tell me when you make another one of yours, will ya'? Thanks!
